Renting a mountain bike at Mammoth is the most convenient way to get out onto the trails. Skip all the hassle of trying to transport a bike up to the mountain and let our experts set you up with the perfect ride fitted to your body type and riding style. We proudly offer an entire fleet of top-of-the-line mountain bikes for all ages and abilities that are ideal for learning to ride all types of terrain. In a first of its kind partnership with the US Forest Service, Mammoth Bike Park also offers class 1 pedal assist electric bikes for rent.

Due to increased demand, advance reservations are recommended to ensure we can provide the desired gear to each guest.

Rental Locations

Main Lodge | Mountain Center in The Village

E-bikes are only available for rent at the Mountain Center in The Village.

Pick up a rental bike and head straight to the trails from any of our convenient trail-side locations that offer mid-day bike adjustments, as well as free overnight bike storage for multi-day rentals. Rental and demo bikes are located behind Main Lodge in between Broadway Express (Chair 1) and Unbound Express (Chair 6).

Both bike rental locations are open 8:45AM–6PM. All bike rentals must be returned prior to 5:30pm.

Bike Repairs and Tuneups

Already have a bike but looking for a repair or tuneup in town? The Gear Up, located on the second floor of the Mountain Center in the Village and the repair shop on the second floor of Main Lodge, both offer full-service bike repairs with walk-ups welcome.
