Head up Minaret Rd (Hwy 203) towards Main Lodge, and you'll find Mammoth Snowmobile Adventures located across the parking lot from Main Lodge, behind the Yodler.

Starting from Snowmobile Adventure headquarters behind Yodler Restaurant & Bar, this tour takes in the beauty of the surrounding forests then heads out to one of the most picturesque overlooks in the Sierra.

Tour Timing

Tours include 60 minutes of ride time and meet at 8:15AM, 10:15AM and 1:15PM.

Please arrive at Snowmobile Adventures on time and prepared for payment processing, helmet fitting, safety briefing and to fill out liability forms. We cannot guarantee a place on a guided tour if you do not show up on time.

What to Bring

Bring protective eyewear: sunglasses or goggles. Outerwear and five fingered gloves recommended.

All Snowmobile Adventure tours are wind/weather and conditions dependent.

Where is Snowmobile Adventures located?

Mammoth Snowmobile Adventures is located adjacent to Mammoth's Main Lodge and is the only snowmobile outfit operated by Mammoth Mountain Ski Area. We recommend using public transportation and taking the Red Line to Main Lodge. Parking is available for Snowmobile Adventure customers behind the Yodler Restaurant & Bar.

Are helmets included with the rental?

Yes, helmets are included. Rental clothing is not available at this time. Guests may bring their own helmets as long as they are DOT certified.

What should I wear?

Snow specific outerwear with layers underneath. Sorel style boots are recommended along with warm winter gloves. Wear protective eyewear: sunglasses or goggles.

What are the minimum age requirements?

Minimum age of tour passenger is 5 years old and at least 42" tall. Minimum age to drive a snowmobile is 16 years old with a driver's license and a parent present.

What type of insurance is provided?

Guided tours include $800 deductible insurance. Purchase of additional insurance (only $15 per rental) is recommended.

Are walk-ins welcome?
